Day 42 – It’s Sunday, how sad was it that I went into work.  But I did a lot done, not everything, but enough.  I now need to decide which size suitcase to bring.  Should I bring a big one because of what I might buy?  Or should I bring a small bag and stuff a duffel bag in?

Agh…I need to decide and finish off laundry.  Then I need to start packing to see how much clothes I should bring.  Then I’ll probably know, but the Chans have a washer/dryer, so I can in fact do laundry there and still bring a smaller suitcase.  Hmm…

Anyways, hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Day 41 – This is going to be a quick post.  Went to work today, started out a little slow, went to lunch, and then picked up some speed on somethings.  Before I knew it, it was 6pm.  Put in a full day.  Felt good cause it looked like I got things accomplished.

Got to do some laundry because I have a feeling that although I want to leave at a decent time tomorrow, I think I may up end staying late at work to get things done.  But who knows, I should it tonight anyways just to get it out of the way.

Then tomorrow I will need to pack.  I’ll be leaving to the airport right after work, so I should try to get as much done now rather than later.  Anyways. hope you all are having a nice weekend.

Day 40 – Oh what a day.  Just trying to get things done.  Left early and got some stuff done, fixed my glasses and then got a haircut.  Otherwise, just another day.

I shouldn’t have read my emails, but something the SDF sent me.  Not sure why his name bothers me.  I really don’t.  I felt so defensive about it and I got so mad.  But I don’t know why.  Why do I feel this way?  I am just trying to forget and try to enjoy my short time off.  Need to stop thinking about work for awhile.  Will be in this weekend to get things done.

Oh well.  Have a nice weekend.

Day 39 – Well, today was somewhat productive.  I didn’t get what I wanted done, but oh well.  Will be working this weekend to get things done and see if I can get through some of the extra stuff.

Since there are going to be sales, I think I will be bringing a bigger suitcase with me to Vegas and pack all the stuff I am going to buy when I am there.  I will need to make sure that I have enough cash and stuff.  I think we will be going out every so often, or not so often.  But if I can, I want to see about trying one of the “celeb chefs” restaurant.  Just got to pick who.

Anyways, not much going on.  Got through another year of evaluations.  Did you imagine I would still be here?  I didn’t.  I thought my evals would be awful, but I guess I did better than I thought.  I guess I’ll be getting my 2% raise. 🙂

I am just grateful that I have a job, a nice job, a very good paying job.  Later.

Day 38 – Well, today spent no time actually working on my audits, which is not good since I now need to work the weekend to get back caught up.  With all these new auditors, it’s hard to get training and my own work done.  Anyways, that’s life.

Went to my HOA’s Board meeting tonight.  Pretty predictable that one of the main topics was parking spaces, yet again.  Another thing that came up was that the land next to the community is now building rental property instead of building more condos and townhomes with a club house and pool.  So, now, the builder sold land to another company and now they are planning to build an apartment complex.  There was a large outcry that this shouldn’t be done.  But they are just starting the process, so it may not got through.  Not sure about what happens to the land, if it doesn’t.

Otherwise, it was business as normal.  Not sure how I feel about it.  Right off the bat, I think I would have problems with selling my place, because why would someone buy my place if the apartments are cheaper and have better amenities?

Anyways, will need to attend these meetings and figure which side I will fall on.

Day 37 – I didn’t get nearly as much done as I wanted to.  Felt very lazy today and was just dragging my feet.

Tomorrow will not be any better, I see working the weekends in my future.

Day 36 – Today I dislike my job.  There were things I just wonder why the auditor thinks that way.  It’s not logical…I mean if it was logical I could understand where the documents were going, but it just didn’t make sense.  I am now beginning to hate my job.

I also have to figure out what kind of training that the auditors need especially when they are experienced.  I know I don’t have to hold their hand, but I am not sure how much to give them.  I told them to talk to me if they have a question.  Is that too much to ask?

Anyways, I have a pounding headache since I didn’t eat anything until 3pm.  Now I am actually pretty hungry and tired.  And of course, it’s Monday.  Maybe, one day after I win the Powerball I will not hate Mondays so much.

Day 35 – So the food went over well.  Like anything else, free things are good things.  The food itself was tasty since I ate some yesterday.  Boy, the cinnamon rolls were really sweet.

Anyways, nothing for today.  Was just chilling and relaxing today.  A new week just starting.

Day 34 – I was a domestic goddess today.  I went shopping for food last night, here’s my before and after picture of my fridge.  Not much in there, except candy, which is not really good for a diabetic.  Oh well.  Here’s an after shot when I got groceries in my fridge.

I was very surpriesed that I did not sleep in this morning, was out of bed by 7am and I cooked.  I made some chicken cacciatore, wontons, lasagna, soy sauce chicken, cinnamon rolls, then I had extra stuff from the lasagna and made baked ziti.  Yep, everything from scratch.  Except, of course, I did not raise the chicken or harvest the grains.  I think the Z folks will have plenty of food.  I haven’t been up to Sarah’s place for a few weeks.  Figured since I really don’t want to work, I can cook and feel good.  Hey – I have the empty pans that Scott gave me, I think it was a hint that he wanted me to fill them.  ha ha ha

   That’s the soy sauce chicken.  Really tasty.  There’s about 3 chickens there, 2 whole chickens and 4 leg/thighs I made.

Wow, it’s about 4pm I made all that food.  Now I just have to do laundry.  Anyways, hope your weekend was productive.

Day 33 – just had to put this up . . .  According to some theorists or crackpots, the world will end on 12-12-12.  Hmmm, should I just blow all my money now?  Or what a couple of months until it’s closer to the end of the world.  Do you think there will be a sale or end of world items?  Would need it now to enjoy before the end of the world though.  Anyone making T-shirts? 🙂

I wonder if these politicians or people use these dates out of superstition or just so it’s more predominantly on people’s mind.  Didn’t the treaty to end WWI was 11-11-11 (1911) at 11:11 am?  Using all the numbers makes it more memorable and appealing to one’s mind.  I need to check on that.

Okay I was too lazy to check on the treaty thing, but I think something happened.  Anyways, if the world does not end, whose to say that 12-12-12 meant 2012? Figured it was not 1912, but what about 2112?  That seem more likely since all the numbers will be a 1 or a 2.

Anyways, it’s Friday and I have loads of groceries in the car.  My fridge and freezer are bare so I had to buy some food.
