So, today I completed one of my presentations to my department.  My presentation was about my life in the UK.  It was only suppose to be 1 hour, but it ended up being an 1.5 hours.  Just like my entries, you would not think that I can speak/write about life, especially my life, for so long.

I have another presentation tomorrow and that should be more interesting because I put together some role playing.  The volunteers seemed pretty excited about it, so I hope it works out well.  It is interesting the dynamics of our department.  There are so many different types of people and how they react to each other.  Great observation material.

So, Beth is Iron Chef’ing, I am sure it will work out well.

As for dim sum on Saturday, Dan, of course, I never pass up eating dim sum.  There is nothing like the real deal.  I tried some cha siu bow from this place and it was blah.  They did not even bake the bread, instead they used the “rolls” from Peking duck, and threw in some roast pork, but the pork was burnt and the sauce was too sweet.  I guess what should I expect if it’s not from a real Chinese place.

My backpack has a hole.  This backpack has gone through a lot, and it has been overseas and travelled around Coventry.  I bought another one in Lake Charles and it’s ok, but it’s not like the one from LL Bean, that was a nice one and I dragged it around for years.  Not sure if I could find another one, but I will try.

Not much more to write, still in the US and will be going home soon, got a few more days of training here in Lake Charles, back to St Louis for a few days, and then to sunny Vegas.  I going to attempt to get a tan while I am there.  I think the kids are in school, all I need to do is stop by somewhere and get the ladies from the UK their chocolates and such.

Later

Darn it, I am really not liking this new wordpress, I cannot find any of the buttons I want….where is the darn spellcheck button.  And I never could find out how to change the font on this…argh

Where is the damn spell check button!!!  I guess I have to do this the old fashioned way and read through my entry.
